Finding your perfect pushchair
What is the first thing most people think of when they start to buy for their new baby?
Prams and pushchairs
Your new pushchair needs to be right for you, it should be fit for anything you decide to do, be it popping to the shops or going for a family day out to the zoo.
Think, are you going to be a busy mum in the city, are you out in the country with a bit more of a rough terrain. Are you an outdoorsy or sporty family that a running pushchair will work better for? Do you travel a lot and need a small collapsible pushchair?
Your pushchair has to work for you, not you work for it.
In this guide I will help you look at various pushchairs for many walks of life, let me help you find that perfect pushchair
There are so many to choose from so it’s a big thing to start with, you have to think of so many things:
What type of pushchair do I want?
Are you looking for a basic pushchair or do you want something a bit more stylish, do you have a newborn that needs to lie flat.
Where will I be using it?
Is your pushchair for using on hard flat ground like pavements and shops, are you going off road
How many children do I have?
If you have a small child already, will just buying a buggy board be better or do you need a tandem or twin pushchair. Is one child all you’ll have or planning another in quick succession? Or do you just need a pushchair for the one child?
What is my budget?
Are you on a tight budget or maybe you have a bigger budget.
Perhaps you aren’t bothered by the price as long as it’s worth it.
No matter the budget there is something for you but having a good idea of your budget is important.
Will it fit in my car?
SUV or small hatchback. Big truck where size doesn’t matter or a sports car. This is somewhere size really does matter.
How long will it last?
Whether you want your pram/pushchair to grow with your child or just want to use it while your baby is small then store it until the next baby is an important thing to consider.
Does it have enough storage?
There needs to at least be space for a small changing bag but what else are you going to need to carry
Can I lift it?
How heavy can you carry?
